I live to find real value from new technology beyond the hype so that society and individual people can benefit from change.  I have spent most of my career in R&D, and I have enough experience to know that it takes more than good tech to be successful commercially or  — even harder — to make a difference in people lives.

In this blog I will share some interesting things I have found related to introducing and applying technology, primarily with examples from the telecommunications area.  But I would suggest that most of these thoughts could be applied more widely.
